Activity: Learning Words

Words are the base of everything around us, the more words we learn the easier it becomes to communicate.

In this activity, the KG3 children worked on four different activities related to learning new words; they were divided into groups with a different task in each center. The students practiced reading stories that contain high-frequency words, they learned to spell and sound out words, they studied how to put together word puzzles, and finally, they created their own story.

In all these centers the children worked as a team; listening and speaking to each other which demonstrated a positive learning environment that showcased their knowledge in a unique and creative method.
