OLGIS is finally officially pursuing the IPC (International Preschool Program)
for preschool and the Common Core Curriculum from G1 to G12 which represent the next generation of K - 12 standards designed to prepare all students for success in college, career, and life by the time they graduate from high school.
The standards are a clear set of shared goals and expectations for the knowledge and skills students need in the real world.
The International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) is one of the fastest-growing curriculums in the world today.
It is a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum, with a clear process of learning and specified goals for every subject.
The IPC has been developed to provide support to teachers so that four main aims can be achieved:
1- To help children learn the subject knowledge, skills, and understandings they need to become aware of the world around them.
2- To help children develop the personal skills they need to take an active part in the world throughout their lives.
3-To help children develop an international mindset alongside their awareness of their own nationality.
4-To do each of these in ways that take into account up-to-date research into how children learn and how they can be encouraged to be life-long learners.
