Dear OLGIS Community,
OLGIS team welcomes you to the academic year 2020-2021.
We definitely wish we were able to meet you and our students in person and on campus too! However; in the meantime, please find below, the set plan for the Elementary and Kindergarten departments.
1- On Tuesday, September 15th; Grade 4 and 5 students and parents are more than welcome to come and visit the school anytime between 8:00 to 12:30. Students will have the chance to meet their teachers and so will the parents/guardians. In doing so, students will receive a prepared booklet/homework to complete at home.
When completed, the student along with the parents can come to school to submit the homework to the teacher.
The homework would be corrected and then given back to the student.
This process continues every day until the last day of the month of September.
2- On Thursday, September 17th; Grades 1, 2 and 3 students and parents are more than welcome to come and visit the school anytime between 8:00 to 12:30.
Students will have the chance to meet their teachers and so will the parents/guardians. In doing so, students will receive a prepared booklet/homework to complete at home.
When completed, the student along with the parents can come to school to submit the homework to the teacher.
The homework would be corrected and then given back to the student.
This process continues every day until the last day of the month of September.
3- On Monday, September 21st; The Kindergarten Department (Kindergarten 1,2 and 3) students and parents are more than welcome to come and visit the school anytime between 8:00 to 12:30.
Students will have the chance to meet their teachers and so will the parents/guardians. In doing so, students will receive a prepared booklet/homework to complete at home. When completed, the student along with the parents can come to school to submit the homework to the teacher.
The homework would be corrected and then given back to the student.
This process continues every day until the last day of the month of September.
The objective of the above is to allow our students to associate with their teachers, for better results during online interaction.
After this 2 week process, students will then be fully ready to begin online learning.
OLGIS is striving to facilitate the educational process for the upcoming academic year, so we kindly ask you to please bear with us until we all figure out what to do further.
P.S: Please note that the students are not allowed to visit the school alone, at all. Unless they come with their parents or guardians, they will not be allowed on the campus.
