Activity: Nature Walk ‘Leaves’ 

 

Nature is a huge and wide place filled with all kinds of leaves that have many different colors, shapes, and sizes. It is a beautiful place and studying different concepts in nature helps the students to appreciate the world they live in and learn to respect it. 

 

In this activity, the students of KG2 learned to match objects that are alike; they were given different tree leaf samples and they had to match them with the correct and similar ones.

 

During the process of the activity, the students also learned to work in teams and classify and sort different objects. They also learned to state differences and similarities between objects found around them in their everyday lives.

This activity helps the students develop their motor skills, logical thinking, and cognitive abilities. It was also super fun to run around collecting leaves and placing them in the right places!
